April 27, 2009: Introducing BetterBusRoute dot com! This is a free web service which allows anyone, anywhere, to indicate up to five bus trips, complete with departure and return times, that they would consider useful enough to get them onboard the bus. Indicating your prefered bus trips is easy: Simply drag an icon to the origin and destination of your trip, select your prefered departure and return times and hit "save". |

| You can visualize all of the proposed routes in your area as an artery map, where the most commonly proposed sections of roadway are drawn with wider lines. There are controls which allow you to restrict the routes you see to adjustable time windows. |

| Entire transit systems can be easily simulated using the advanced tools included on the site, and simulations of proposed and existing service can be compared simultaneously to reveal how well the current system serves the needs of its community. |
